costs
We offer affordable rates for groups with an income, and offer some workshops for free to unfunded grassroots groups.
is it really worth it?
It can be hard to find time to book in some training or get together for a difficult meeting. We know how tempting it is to just keep ploughing on, or hope the problem will go away! Coming together to work through important issues or learn new skills can make all the difference between a group that is just keeping it’s head above water, and a group that is thriving.
A few weeks on, the relationship seems to have improved considerably. In addition to the insights gained from the discussion you facilitated, the fact of the meeting itself gave us permission to reset our relationship and resume a more normal style of communication. I'm very grateful. Yesterday we had a session on setting some rules for how we interact in our programmes - involving other members of staff - this just wasn't possible a month ago.
our recent work
In 2020 we trained a group of 24 aspiring conflict facilitators before the pandemic reached the UK. We then spent some time orienting to the new landscape of the world, and offered two large open courses on Collaborative Organising and Living Systems for Thriving Groups in autumn 2020. We have since taken steps to develop these offerings further and are looking forward to our first self-paced, on-demand training around Living Systems coming your way in the next few months, as well as our drop-in Facilitating Collaborative Groups training. Aside from those larger offerings, we continued on as before - except working online instead of in-person. We mediated in a number of contexts and are actively seeking to facilitate conflict and misgivings between groups in order to build collective power.
