We are excited to be looking for a great facilitator to join the Navigate team.
Navigate exists to support groups and organisations working for social and environmental justice to work together more effectively. We do this through offering facilitation, mediation and training and by helping groups to develop effective, collaborative organisational systems and processes. We are dedicated to helping groups find their way through difficulties, to unleash their full potential and work towards their visions in sustainable and effective ways.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about facilitation and is either experienced and skilled, or is keen to learn to facilitate, in areas including conflict/mediation, group facilitation and decision making, building resilience, power dynamics and collaborative organisational systems (e.g.systems for engaging with conflict or decision making within an organisation).
Dedication to social and environmental justice and a commitment to working to develop effective communication and collaboration as a team are both essential for this role.
Much of our work is currently in the South of England, but sometimes it takes us across the UK and occasionally abroad. The role requires regular travel by train. We don’t have an office base, as part of our team you would live anywhere that allowed for sustainable working and regular rail travel.
We are currently in the process of realigning our strategy to find a way to make our work as useful as possible in the context that we believe we are in, of global ecological, climate and social emergency.
